It is not enough to filter out harmful substances from drinking water, which is, of course, essential, but it is necessary to achieve a quality close to the optimal quality of the so-called spring water. It also doesn’t matter in what proportion and in what chemical form macro and micro elements are present in good drinking water.

The body of an adult needs 2-2.5 liters of water supply per day. 1400 liters of water flow through our brain every day and 2000 liters wash our kidneys. Consumed water passes through the entire body. The main function of water in the human body is to supply the organs with nutrients and remove the harmful products of metabolism from the body. This is especially important in situations where the organism is weakened by illness, physical exhaustion or going through various physiological changes (pregnancy, breastfeeding etc.)

Myths and assumptions in relation to water:

The problem with the excessive consumption of mineral water with a high content of mineral substances is that the mineral salts are inorganic, i.e. non-living, and therefore the body cannot utilize them or only minimally. Our body can utilize minerals in nutrition to the full extent, and we supply up to 90-95% of the necessary supply of minerals to the body through food. Inorganic mineral salts settle in our organism, and this can lead to the formation of kidney stones, gallstones, tartar and hardening of the arteries, joints can become inflexible (painful).

In short: no. It doesn’t matter what and how much we drink. Pure and natural water is the most suitable for satisfying the biological need for water supply. Pure water has a good taste, quenches thirst excellently, and in addition, it is important from the point of view of nutrition and physiology that it also contains an adequate amount of minerals and trace elements in a form in which they are easily processed and used by the body.

Tap water is of different quality in different regions of the country, but there is one thing in common: substances that may not be the most suitable for us enter or remain in it during treatment. We can find many minerals in it that are not useful and can cause problems. Unfortunately, it is also a fact that even if the quality of the drinking water supplied by the water supplier is satisfactory, by the time it reaches our glasses through the outdated water pipes, its quality is often unsuitable for drinking.

It is important to know that only drinking water cannot be replaced by any other food, and therefore it does not matter at all what its quality is. One of the harmful substances found in it in some areas is arsenic, which is demonstrably found in the drinking water of millions of people in a higher than required concentration. According to experts, this does not pose too great a danger, while it may have an impact on a higher risk of skin, lung and kidney cancer. The second big problem is chlorination: water disinfection is carried out using chlorine. Although water with this concentration of chlorine does not harm health, it is certain that it does not benefit our body. Sometimes lead from water pipes can also pose a risk. We can prevent this by replacing the pipe. Persistent fatigue, memory problems or weakness alert us to water with a high lead content. You have probably encountered these symptoms too, and you didn’t even imagine that they could be caused by poor quality water!

As is known, water treatment devices are either universal or specialized. When developing universal devices, manufacturers take into account around 10-12 main parameters, which are regularly checked by the responsible authorities, and they try to keep the parameters of the treated water between the required limit parameters. There are also more demanding enterprises, but none of them take into account the fact that water purification must also focus on bioactive toxic substances – sometimes present only in a few molecules, but this is a category of substances that significantly harms living organisms. It’s one of those new considerations that only health water treatment equipment can match.

The second major difference between the structure of water treatment facilities from which potable water is obtained and other facilities is a completely new aspect. We are sorry that this is news to some, but it is the truth. The new point of view is based on the biological needs of living organisms. Good drinking water has precisely defined and respected nutritional values.
